Dam Sense’s mission is to educate people about the ecological, cultural and economic benefits of a free-flowing Snake River; to communicate technical and scientific knowledge about dam breaching; and to actively support free-flowing rivers for environmental, scientific, cultural, or economic reasons.
The purposes of the non-profit organization are exclusively charitable, religious, educational or scientific within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, of the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
